This necklace, entitled Olympia is a nod to Manet’s 1863 painting of the same name. Olympia was controversial for many reasons, the main being that the nude featured a prostitute as its subject. In celebration of the beauty of the nude form, woman’s domination over the male gaze, and women’s rights a portion of each sale of the Olympia necklace will go to supporting these and other causes that aim to liberate and support women in their many roles.
